John serves as Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environmental at Cadence McShane Construction Company where he is responsible for the leadership of the firm’s comprehensive safety program. A longstanding veteran of the design/build and general construction industry with 23 years of experience, John has served in various safety related positions both on and off of job sites. He ensures the safe and successful deliveries of construction assignments by leading a team that oversees procedures as well as provides ongoing safety training to the firm’s project management and field employees. John is the current chairman of the TBB Safety Committee and has served as past chairman of the TEXO Safety Committee. He is also actively involved with the National AGC Safety Committee and holds a current Board-of-Directors position on the Dallas Builder’s Association Multi-family Building Council. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
